It is predicted that 2023 will be the first year of sodium ion battery industrialization, and the new technology will contribute incremental volume. The speeding up of sodium ion industry standard development will help open up the upstream and downstream supply chain. At the same time, sodium ion battery advancement is also accelerating, and the industry is currently at the stage of small batch product testing to achieve energy density of 130Wh/kg to 140Wh/kg and cycle life of about 3,000 times, and mass production is expected to start in 2023.
