Mantherm W4 is cut and fractionated to remove as many oxidation-prone components as possible, resulting in less sludge, a characteristic that is especially important for electric heater customers who do not use nitrogen-sealed expansion tanks.

Compared to conventional mineral oils that freeze to jelly at -7°C, Mantherm W4's good low-temperature properties allow it to be pumped at -30°C.
